DISAPPEARANCE OF KNIGHT BUS LEAVES ITALIAN MUGGLE CITY IN SHAMBLES
In the city of Bovolone, disaster struck the night of May 1st, 1997. Behind the famous muggle winery Lucia Wines, owned by native Paco Lucia, a bus lay destroyed with seemingly no cause for the accident. Italian Ministry official Blaise Fuoco reports the connection between this scene and the vanished Knight Bus.
"We knew London's bus had been missing for at least a week, but we didn't expect it to show up in Italy. The smoke around the bus was thick, but you could still see the Dark Mark hovering above it," he explains, pointing to a spot just a few feet above the rubble of what was the Knight Bus. Was this tragic accident truly an accident, or was it the work of Death Eaters? All vague clues found point to yes, Ministry officials are saying. The bus has been under careful examination since its remains were found, although nothing explaining why Death Eaters chose the Knight Bus for this crime has been discovered. The only witnesses, Alessandra Lucia and her daughter Sonia, recall four hooded men at the scene.
Casualty count reaches sixteen, although records show many passengers are still missing. Among the dead are Stan Shunpike, the Knight Bus's faithful conductor, and Madam Marsh, an undercover member of the Ministry. There are records proving other Ministry officials were on the bus at the time it was last seen, though they have yet to be found.
The Minister, Cornelius Fudge, has reason to believe that Pucey, Greengrass, and the two Lestranges were responsible for the chaos. Rewards will be given for their arrests.
Is this a warning sent out to British Wizards? Only time will tell.
